Post: help - persistent diaper rash. Suggestions?

My son has a persistent diaper rash, and I haven't been
able to get it under control. He currently has a tummy
bug which is giving him diarrhea. I want to let his
bottom air out, but with the diarrhea, that is a problem.
The diaper rash has made his bottom all red and he can't
sit, his body shakes, and he cries all the time.

I've tried fixing the diaper rash with A&D ointment,
desitin, and I even tried monostat. The skin ins't broken
or anything, but I can tell the little guy is very unhappy.

Any ideas to remedy my baby's diaper rash?
